The Washington Ukrainian Humanitarian Center delivered a critical newborn and maternal warming system to Zhytomyr Hospital #1 for its prenatal department, where doctors care for the most vulnerable patients—newborn babies and mothers facing complications during and after childbirth.
The Warm 6200 Patient Heating System, equipped with a Warm 5290 warming mattress and a Warm 8200 warming blanket, is essential for maintaining safe body temperature during labor, emergency interventions, and postnatal care. In conditions of power outages, cold hospital wards, and the immense strain of war on medical infrastructure, this equipment can mean the difference between life and death.
The system helps prevent hypothermia in newborns, stabilizes mothers after complicated deliveries, and supports medical teams in saving lives when every minute matters.
This delivery directly strengthens the hospital’s capacity to protect mothers and babies at their most fragile moment—providing warmth, safety, and a chance for life under the most challenging circumstances.
